We’re excited to announce that the Ahmarra update will launch simultaneously on both North American and European servers—the first time we’ve released an update to everyone at the same time. The EU update will include the Blighted Veil Raid Update that includes not only the raid, but also Player Endorsements, Housing Hall of Fame, Guild Open House, Idle Wizard, and more.

We would like to thank our European players in advance for their patience with any bumps along the way, but we are very excited that we can launch updates simultaneously in all regions now. This is an important step for Wizard101, and we’re grateful to the development team for their hard work in bringing Ahmarra to players everywhere. We also want to thank every one of our players for their continued support, patience, and enthusiasm. Your feedback and encouragement help make milestones like this possible.

We are excited that we can now launch our updates simultaneously in all regions and want to let you know what this means and how it will work.

For Ahmarra, we partnered with a new translation team to help us meet the accelerated release schedule. As a result, we’ll be launching with some translation limitations: 1,320 strings (lines of text) arrived after the initial submission, and 823 strings were changed afterward, 10,227 strings were fully translated. The missing or changed strings will be sent for correction, with an update planned after launch.

After many requests and player feedback, I would like to formally announce that we are actively working on and will be consolidating the seven EU servers into one shared EU server. Our current target is in the first half of 2027. Please stay tuned for more announcements as the date gets finalized. More information will be provided as our testing and work progresses.

The simultaneous Ahmarra release and the planned EU server consolidation are part of a broader plan to bring Wizard101’s worldwide communities closer together. We expect to share additional details around mid-2027, and we look forward to taking these next steps together with the community.

Thank you
